Frequently asked questions

How much does a prosthesis cost?

Under current Russian law, all categories of persons with disabilities who have an individual rehabilitation program are entitled to free technical rehabilitation aids and prosthetic and orthopedic products.

Our company operates through a state tender conducted by the Social Insurance Fund. In this case, you do not need to invest your own funds, but the procedure for obtaining a prosthesis through the tender can take from 3 months to a year. Also, another company with a cheaper and less functional product may win the tender.

Therefore, most of our users take a different, faster route and receive prostheses through compensation. This means they pay for the bionic or body-powered prosthesis with their own funds or through an interest-free loan from a partner bank, with subsequent compensation from the Social Insurance Fund. In this case, you receive the prosthesis in the shortest possible time (about 1 month), and compensation from the SIF comes to you after the prosthesis is made.

In cases where it is not possible to use the first or second method, you can consider getting a prosthesis through a charitable foundation.

Can I get your prosthesis if I don't live in Moscow?

We operate throughout Russia — we cooperate with regional prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises. To make an individual prosthesis, we obtain a cast and measurements of your stump, which are taken by a local prosthetist. When the prosthesis is ready, we send it to your city. Trained prosthetic technicians at the prosthetic and orthopedic enterprise in your region will install it, either independently or together with our specialists.

If you need compensation for the manufactured prosthesis, you submit the compensation application to your local Social Insurance Fund office. Our managers will support you at all stages of working with government agencies.
